Beginning art and alpha
Designer: Time to get down and dirty with maya. I'm glad I managed to convince the others in my group to do low poly ship models, it makes my life a lot easier. I started with the battleship, because it's the most iconic. I finished it in class and it actually looks pretty nice, especially from a distance. Started on the submarine, too. It's going to be a bit more difficult working on the submarine since it's very cylindrical, but I think i'll be able to make it look purdy.
Programmers:
Hunter: Worked with Damir trying to figure out the attacking and then getting to work on the shader for outlining, but that didn't work out that well so I will have to check something else to show that the object is highlighted.
Damir: Re-did the initial setup phase for both players to fit the GDD more accurately. Networking is proving to be a grandiose challenge so I've decided to allocate more time than usual for it, hoping to get a grip of things sooner rather than later. I'd say the timeline for the project is still on track nonetheless.
